Abstract

Multicultural Education is the form of education that incorporates the histories, texts, values, beliefs, and perspectives of people belonging from different cultural backgrounds. Multicultural education based on the principle of educational equity for all the students, which remove barriers in the educational opportunities for students from different cultural background. The aim of multi-cultural education to improve the learning process of all the students, particularly students who suffer from lower educational achievements and attainments. Multi-cultural education may require the teaching learning materials such as the use of texts, materials, references and historical examples that students can understand from different cultural backgrounds.
